Sherold Salmon - Owner

Raymond Sherold Salmon came from very humble beginnings. His father worked at the Lindale Mill and his mother was a housewife. Sherold began working for the Rome News Tribune on a bicycle route when he was 10 years old. Sherold, always a hard worker, was eager to build his route into a newspaper agency. He started with 285 daily papers and ended with 4200 papers and 17 boys working under him. That was his only means of making a living until he began to sell automobiles out of his front yard in 1955. He opened Sherold salmon Motor Co. in 1962, and later Sherold Salmon Auto SuperStore in 1997. He was married to former Bonijean Lovett in 1959. They have three children, Regina Salmon Justice, Raymond (Ramey) Sherold Salmon, JR., and David Lovett Salmon. The two boys work in the business. Sherold has always tried to be honest and fair with his customers. He and his family are Christians and they try to live their lives in a caring, giving, and considerate way. He has built his business on trust and doing what he says he will do.

Ramey Salmon - President

Ramey is the president of Sherold Salmon Auto SuperStore, the vice president of Automax-Rent-A-Car, and the oldest son of Sherold Salmon. He has been working here for over 35 years, and has loved every minute of it. He has a beautiful wife, Carol Salmon, and two wonderful children, Trey and Taylor. In 2016, his family expanded by two. Trey married Brooke Winslette Salmon, and Taylor married Blake Alvey. His family grew again, by an addition of 4 beautiful/handsome, healthy grandchildren; Charlie Grace Salmon, Collins Alvey, Raymond Sherold Salmon, IV "Ford", and last but certainly not least Camryn Alvey, born in June of 2023.

Trey Salmon - Buyer/Sales

Trey is Sherold's oldest grandson/namesake, Raymond Sherold Salmon III, we call him "Trey" to..... keep it short. He is the son of Ramey and Carol Salmon, brother to Taylor Salmon Alvey. Trey is a 2006 graduate of Model High School. He attended Jacksonville State University, Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service and graduated from Shorter University with a degree in Business Management. Trey is married to Brooke Winslette Salmon and together they have two beautiful children. Charlie Grace, born in 2017, and a Kindergartner at Darlington, and last but not least, Raymond Sherold Salmon IV "Ford", born in 2021- Pre-School, Rome First.

Taylor Salmon Alvey - Office Manager

Taylor is a granddaughter of Sherold Salmon, the daughter of Ramey and Carol and little sister to Trey Salmon. She is a graduate of Model High School and Shorter University. Taylor is married to Blake Alvey and together they have two beautiful little girls; Collins, born in 2018, is in pre-school at Darlington, and little Camryn, she was born in 2023.

David Salmon - Vice President

David is Vice President of Sherold Salmon Auto SuperStore and President of Automax-Rent-A-Car. He is the youngest son of Sherold Salmon. He has worked here for over 25 years. Jordan Salmon is a grandson of Sherold Salmon and the son of David Salmon. He has been with his family's business since 2009. He found his calling was in sales in 2012 and has been hard at selling cars ever since. “I just want to continue what Grandy started, I want to be the best and most honest man and salesman I can be. I was raised that if you do right by people, you will be taken care of in the end.
